    Absolutely love the food here! Hands down the best food in town. We usually drive 45 minutes to eat this at least once or twice a week! Their italian ice is so delicious, I wish I could fill my freezer up!! If you havent been here, you are missing out! They recently got lucky slot machines as well! $400 two weekends in a row!!!

    Went back to try more of the menu and was pleasantly surprised how good the hot dog was. The Vienna weenie can to me in a hot steamed bun with all the Chicago dog fix-in's and I'll get it again. If a dog joint with hotdogs in its name can't put together a decent hotdog then they have failed. I also had a double cheeseburger that was very good. They cook them over an open flame and the edges of the patties were crispy crunchy charred just the way I like 'em. It came with onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo and ketchup.
    I love Portillios but hate the crowds and the long wait for pickup at the lunch time rush and have been looking elsewhere for my hotdog fix and I think I may have found one, plus this joint has gyros which is my next item to try.
    Excellent value here across the board. $2.59 for a hotdog!

    Underwhelming food, hotdogs were ordered with everything on it no sport peppers and barely any tomatoes. With all the good hotdog stands around here I would skip this one

    Solid new hot dog location in Wheeling!!! Been COMPLETELY renovated inside...SO clean.
    Hot dog is on point and fresh cut fries hot and delicious!!

    Been here a few times.  The first time the owner recommended the beef sandwich.  It was good, but there are better options out there.  Had a double burger the next time and really enjoyed it.  That will be my go to from now on.  The slot machines take away space, and change the atmosphere and I don't mean for the better.  But if you want a decent Chicago hot dog place, this is a good option.
